As the WMI Business Manager, you will be at the forefront of this transformation, driving research, data analysis, and technology assessment to help meet buildings' decarbonisation targets and ensure commercial success for industry players.


The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to provide actionable insights that inform our business strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
This role would suit someone looking to become a leader in there industry and take on a challenge to help further this company as a global leader.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the WMI team in the UK and internationally, aligning with corporate objectives and mission.
  • Develop and implement commercial and financial targets for the market intelligence business.
  • Manage the budgetary responsibilities (P&L) for WMI, including its overseas operations.
  • Ensure efficient internal processes and effective interaction between WMI and other business entities.
  • Adhere to excellence in market research industry standards, ensuring top-quality, valid, and reliable research.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for business development both in the UK and internationally.
  • Represent the company at external and internal events, including international travel as required.

Skills Required

  • Strong commercial acumen and comprehensive business experience, including financial literacy and leadership qualities.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in research methodologies and their applications.
  • Proficiency in data generation, management, and analysis.
  • Sophisticated interpersonal skills to navigate societal and business borders.
  • Ability to work with international teams across various geographies and cultures.
  • Proficiency in PC and various software packages.
  • Understanding of the construction and HVAC industry is desirable.

Qualifications

  • A University level degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
