Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
£38,188k + Overtime (1.3x - 2.0x)
Shifts
8-hour shift rotation
Mon – Fri 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm

What would I be doing as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer?
- Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on various equipment, including air handling equipment, compressors, rotating drums, large ovens, Fibre opening equipment, ventilation systems, motors, burners, hydraulic presses and cutting systems.
- Fault find and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Suggest and promote process improvements to reduce downtime of machinery and keep the production line running
- Keep track of stock and spares to ensure parts are in place as and when needed.
- Undertake training for new skills and tasks in line with Personal Development Plans and as requested by Management
The qualification and skills required of a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Experience in a fast-paced hands-on production environment
- Multi skilled split 60/40 mechanical bias
- Welding and fabrication experience is essential for this role
- Interpret schematics/electrical drawings to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults
- Experience with 3-phase electrical systems
- Flexibility to work overtime to support the businesses needs
- 1 weekend to be worked per month
- Knowledge of PLC system such as Siemens, on the job training provided.
- Ownership of basic tools for the role preferred
