We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work for a manufacturing company in Nottinghamshire.

The salary will be £38,188 a year + overtime.

The job will be on a 8 hour shift rotation alternating 6am- 2pm / 2pm – 10pm.

40 Hours per week with 1 weekend worked within a month.

Overview:

You will be responsible to your shift supervisor and responsible for maintaining various machines within the facility as well as the facility itself. This is a challenging hands-on opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who is keen to work towards keeping the production lines running but also offer suggestions into improvements for the future.  This job role will require a keen to work attitude with a focus on maintaining the manufacturing equipment and site utilities to ensure continuous and safe operation.

Responsibilities:

• Engineering maintenance and servicing of site equipment. Including but not limited to air handling equipment, compressors, Multiple and various rotating drums, Large ovens, ventilation systems, motors, burners, hydraulic presses and cutting systems.

• Suggest and promote process improvements to better the running of machinery and processes

• Engineering maintenance for the building

• Supporting all on-going / New projects

• Work within a team and alone without instruction

• Commit to ensuring production lines are active through overtime if needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced hands-on production environment preferred

• Welding and fabrication experience required

• Identify electrical faults. Read and work from circuit diagrams

• Experience with 3-phase electrical systems

• Good understanding of Mechanical & Electrical engineering

• Knowledge of process automation equipment including PLC system such as Siemens is preferred, on the job training provided.
