Job Description:

We are excited to welcome a Purchaser to our client’s team. This position is integral to the production process, ensuring that materials are sourced and procured efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will be a diligent, hardworking professional who can thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase materials necessary for business operations.
  • Cost and schedule imported products via freight forwarders.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth product flow and manufacturing processes.
  • Perform additional assigned duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a purchasing role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CIPS Procurement Training.
  • Proven negotiating skills with the ability to purchase within budgeted limits.
  • Ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Understanding of product specifications and customer requirements.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
