A globally high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their company with the appointment of a Technical Trainer.

As Technical Trainer, it will involve writing and delivering training of new starters and existing staff. 

Working from their manufacturing facility in the West Midlands, the Technical Trainer will be responsible for:

*Set-up of training and educational material using the technical functions to produce core fundamental skills, to be delivered virtually prior to integration into production.

*Maintenance of skill level across shop floor (weekly, monthly reviews)

*Improvement and audit activities.

*Support of the operator post-recruitment (day 1 face to face checks)

*Facilitate and construct training material (content - theory and practical)

*Close liaison with Senior Supervisors and Team Leaders to discuss training needs and shortfalls.

*To lead key individuals on the shop floor to deliver training on a regular basis

*Completion of relevant paper work, and transfer to computer system, maintain hardcopy of training  and audit records and maintain for audit purposes

*Keep employees up to date regarding their knowledge requirements and any process changes or new operations.

*Follow Safe Systems of Work, Safe Isolating Procedures and Standard Operating  Procedures. Ensure others follow these procedures.

*Create training and audit plans for all new and existing employees

The successful candidate should be someone with training experience from a Manufacturing/Engineering background.
