My client is a leader in workforce development, providing innovative training and assessment solutions. They offer comprehensive apprentice training and a variety of commercial courses, continually expanding their technical delivery to industry.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an Engineering Trainer / Assessor with a strong background in mechanical engineering, particularly in mechanical maintenance. The core responsibility is delivering training and assessments in core maintenance skills to learners of all ages. Experience in electrical systems, pneumatics/hydraulics, and fitting/assembly is advantageous.

Ideal Candidate:

A qualified (Level 3 minimum) engineer dedicated to high-quality teaching and creating a positive learning environment. Your extensive knowledge and experience will inspire and motivate learners.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the Engineering industry
  • Driving licence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, organised self-starter
  • Ability to train and assess learners
  • Competence in developing and presenting training material

Salary & Benefits:

  • Annual salary of up to £42,500
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory days
  • Pension scheme

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week in the Redditch area
