About the role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a KS1 Teacher at a wonderful, modern primary school in Brent, London. Whether you’re an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to gain experience, we welcome your application! As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for guiding a class of young learners through the exciting journey of their early education.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your students, fostering both academic and personal growth. With the support of teaching assistants and access to our cutting-edge facilities, you’ll have all the tools you need to create a vibrant and dynamic classroom environment. This part-time role is ideal for someone looking to balance a fulfilling teaching career with other commitments.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must hold a valid QTS or equivalent.

• Experience: ECTs are welcome to apply; however, some experience teaching KS1 is desirable.

• Passion for Teaching: A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and a commitment to their educational success.

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and contribute to the school community.

• Creativity and Innovation: A flair for creating engaging and imaginative lessons that capture the interest of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.

• Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of your students, providing constructive feedback and support where needed.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages student participation.

• Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and share best practices.
