Special Vehicle Process/Build Senior Engineer - £29.52/hr rising to £35.65/hr after 12 weeks

What You Will Do:

• Develop manufacturing processes for vehicle modifications, including body, paint, and electrical systems.
• Oversee facility installations required for vehicle modifications.
• Achieve process metrics including JPH (Jobs Per Hour), CPU (Cost Per Unit), HPU (Hours Per Unit), and FTT (First Time Through) targets for elements of added content.
• Identify process improvements and train the operating team on implementing revised processes.
• Develop and review cost-saving possibilities, providing technical justifications, and oversee the implementation of changes.
• Collaborate closely with the special vehicle development team and end users to develop proposals that meet individual use case requirements.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven Vehicle Operations experience within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• An Engineering Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent is required.
• A Master's degree in a relevant subject is preferred but not essential.
• A high level of collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teams and end users.
