Position Overview: We are looking for skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Engineers to join the team at this brand-new facility. As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be critical in maintaining and optimizing the production machinery, ensuring the smooth operation of the plant. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking project, where your expertise will contribute directly to the success of the UK’s first Takis production site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine scheduled PPMs (Planned Preventive Maintenance) and respond promptly to equipment faults and breakdowns, ensuring all tasks are documented.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery, gaining in-depth knowledge to train other team members effectively.
• Adapt and grow with the company, embracing innovative ideas and new ways of working.
• Diagnose breakdowns and apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve issues effectively.
• Fit new parts as needed and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly post-maintenance.
• Conduct quality inspections on completed jobs to uphold the highest standards.
• Manage the engineering stores, ensuring all parts are accurately booked out against relevant assets and jobs.
• Handle emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs, as well as support new installations.

Desired Experience:

• Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ-based) or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance.
• 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English.
• Ideally, possess a Level 2 Food Safety qualification or above.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of health and safety protocols.
• Experience working with specialist equipment such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and servos.
• FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry experience is highly desirable.
