Contracts Manager – Flat Roofing and Industrial Cladding

Blaymires Recruitment is representing a respected Roofing Contractor based near Portsmouth who is searching for a Contracts Manager with Flat Roofing or Industrial Cladding experience to join the business.

They have been operating for over 10 years and have built a trusted business offering flat and cladding roofing services with project values ranging from £30K to £500K.

They require a Contracts Manager to oversee various projects, largely in the commercial and Industrial sectors, with projects across the South. They undertake a variety of Flat, Metal and Tiled roofing projects and the successful Contracts Manager will be responsible, ensuring work schedules and commercial guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities of the Contracts Manager:

• Managing and lead schemes from inception to completion
• Design
• Handling financial reports, budgets
• Ensuring H&S is in place
• Client relations ensuring excellent communication skills
• Managing Site managers and Supervisors
• Programming
• Deliverables

Skills and attributes of the Contracts Manager:

• Flat Roofing  or Sheet Cladding experience is essential.
• Understanding of roofing terminology, materials and processes.
• Understanding health and safety and RAMS.
• Current full drivers’ licence
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills with the drive and focus to deliver results.
• Health & Safety Qualification - IOSH, SSSTS or similar advantageous.
