Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Post 16 Progression Adviser for a Local Authority Client based in North London.

In this role, you will provide targeted support and guidance to young people, helping them overcome barriers to education, employment, and training, and ensuring they progress into positive post-16 pathways.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Provide tailored advice and guidance to young people on education, employment, and training (EET) opportunities.
  • Develop individual action plans for young people, setting clear goals for their progression.
  • Track and monitor the progress of young people on your caseload, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Deliver targeted interventions to engage and support vulnerable young people, including NEETs and those in alternative provision.
  • Conduct outreach and home visits to re-engage young people and ensure continued progression.
  • Organise and attend events promoting EET opportunities to young people.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience supporting young people in accessing education, employment, and training (EET) opportunities.
  • Experience working with young people from vulnerable groups, including those in alternative provision, young offenders, and those with SEND.
  • Experience developing and implementing individual action plans to guide young people's progression.
  • Experience tracking and managing caseloads, ensuring regular follow-up and accurate data recording.

What's on offer:

Salary: £22+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Part Time, 21 hours per week
