Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Location: Hornchurch
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager with a background in the trade counter or wholesale industry? Do you have expertise in managing a fast-paced warehouse environment and handling building materials and components? If so, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations in a busy warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow and timely deliveries.
- Manage stock levels, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Lead and motivate a team, ensuring high levels of performance and safety.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are met and maintained.
- Coordinate with the trade counter to ensure a seamless supply chain and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, ideally within a trade counter or wholesaler.
- Valid Reach/Counterbalance licence.
- Experience with either Man Up or Scissor Lift operations.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage staff and liaise with customers effectively.
