Science Technician required!

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an inspirational Science Technician to work at one of our client schools in Tunbridge Wells on a full-time basis.

You will be responsible for supporting and facilitating the delivery of the Science curriculum across all three Science disciplines, including the maintenance & preparation of materials, supporting health and safety practices in the classroom, and provision of supplies.

You will be supported by & responsible to both the Head of Science and Senior Science Technician at the school, working closely with both to ensure smooth operation of lessons & effective learning.

Salary ranges from £105 to £115 per day, dependent on experience.

To be considered for this role, applicants should ideally have:

• Demonstrable experience working within a laboratory setting, ideally within a school-based environment (though this is not essential)

• A degree-level qualification in a Science-related subject

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

• A positive, engaging, and proactive approach

• Strong organisational skills

• Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Tradewind can put a DBS in place for you, which we will refund in full following a period of 20 days worked in our placements

• Valid Proof of Right to Work in the UK
