Groundworker with Full Driving Licence

Location: Ludlow, Shropshire

Hours:  Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm & Friday: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

Salary:  £15-£18 Per hour

Our client is seeking a skilled Groundworker to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role involves supporting site-based projects with a variety of groundwork tasks, from preparing sites to assisting in structural foundations. A full UK driving license is essential due to site travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities of a Groundworker:

  • Execute a variety of groundworks, including site preparation, drainage, concreting, and trenching.
  • Operate various plant machinery (CPCS or NPORS tickets are advantageous).
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely project completion.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines on all sites.

Key Skills of a Groundworker:

  • Full UK Driving License – required for travel between sites.
  • Valid CSCS Card – essential for site access.
  • Experience in Groundworks – including previous site work.
  • Plant Machinery Tickets (CPCS or NPORS) – highly beneficial.

Ideal candidates will be based in the SY8, DY14, or WR15 areas.
