The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Housing to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our housing strategy, ensuring the provision of high-quality services to our residents, and driving continuous improvement across our housing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Housing team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Develop and implement housing policies and strategies that align with the organization’s goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the delivery of housing services, ensuring excellence in tenant satisfaction, property management, and community engagement.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and value for money.
- Act as a key liaison with residents, stakeholders, and external partners, representing the organization at meetings and events.
- Monitor and report on housing performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
- Drive initiatives to enhance the quality and accessibility of our housing services.
- Proven experience in a senior housing management role, preferably within a Housing Association or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in financial management and budgetary control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
